Professor David Wilson is a world renowned criminologist. He travels to Lincolnshire to meet Bert Spencer, who was the number one suspect in the murder of a 13-year-old newspaper boy in 1976.

2 - Daddy's Boy 45 min

Ann Whelan, the mother of one of the Bridgewater 4, has campaigned for 20 years to get her son freed from jail. Believing the identity of the killer to be amongst the documents she has collected, she hands them to Professor Wilson.

3 - Broken Silence 46 min

Barbra was Bert’s secretary 38 years ago. After some gentle questioning by Professor Wilson, it quickly becomes apparent she could not account for Bert’s whereabouts for the whole of the day that Carl was killed – Bert’s cast iron alibi is no more.
