1 - S1 E1 25 min

Jing Xuan is a third year polytechnic student. At home, she always has to face argument between her parents. In school, she is being outcast by her classmates and nicknamed ‘A Lonely Fish’. Jing Xuan best and only friend is Kora who is popular in school. One day, on her way to the classroom, Jing Xuan has a brief encounter with Yi Kai near the vending machine. When Jing Xuan is inside the toilet cubicle, she overheard Xiao Wei and Min Min’s conversation and is upset to learn that Kora had been taken advantage of by them. Afterschool, Kora and Jing Xuan have dessert at a nearby café, where they meet Xiao Wei and Min Min. Jing Xuan expose what Xiao Wei had done in front of Kora. Upset for being taken advantage of by a friend she trust, Kora runs out of the cafe. Jing Xuan wants to run after Kora but knocks into Yi Kai, spilling the coffee he is holding, on to Yi Kai’s shirt. Jing Xuan apologized profusely and offers to buy another cup for Yi Kai. Yi Kai calmly says it’s ok and asks Jing Xuan to go after Kora. Jing Xuan is impressed with Yi Kai’s reaction for being such a gentleman. Jing Xuan’s father Hao Cheng promises Jing Xuan that he will be present for her solo dance competition, however, he fails to turn up. Seeing how disappointed Jing Xuan is, her mother Ming Zhen got into an argument with Hao Cheng in the car, and even brought up the topic of divorce. Jing Xuan cannot take their endless argument and insists on getting out of the car. Hao Cheng and Ming Zhen try to stop her. During the struggle, their car met with an accident...

2 - S1 E2 25 min

Jing Xuan wakes up to the news of her parents' passing and is also injured in the car accident. Unable to accept the fact, thinking that her wilfulness was the cause of her parents' death, Jing Xuan attempts suicide. She, however, manages to survive with the help of Yi Kai, who is a doctor at the hospital. Yi Kai comforts Jing Xuan and is there for her whenever she needs someone. Due to common topics, they become good friends. Yi Kai also helps Jing Xuan to step out of her comfort zone and play with children in the hospital. To express her gratitude, she makes a healthy lunchbox for Yi Kai. As time passes by, they develop feelings for each other. With the support of Yi Kai, Kora and Kora’s mother, Ann, Jing Xuan comes around and decides to move on and live her life. 3 weeks later, Jing Xuan is discharged from the hospital. Jing Xuan finds the last birthday gift her parents' got her while packing their belongings. Sobbing sadly, Jing Xuan puts on the necklace. Indistinctly, she begins hearing some weird sounds. The sounds come from nowhere and sends chills down Jing Xuan’s spine...

3 - S1 E3 24 min

Jing Xuan begins to hear strange sounds after she put on the necklace from her parents. Kora believe Jing Xuan is not used to staying alone at home, that’s why Jing Xuan is hearing sounds. Jing Xuan introduce Yi Kai to Kora and Kora has a good impression of him. Jing Xuan hears a woman crying in the hospital toilet but Kora said she cannot hear anything. This terrifies Jing Xuan. Jing Xuan goes back school to study and realizes that she no longer felt put off by the noises in class. She also tries to change her attitude and get along with her groupmates. Yi Kai asks Jing Xuan out for dinner and gives some tips about how to handle her emotions. Jing Xuan asks Yi Kai if he could remember their first encounter at the cafe. Yi Kai said he cannot remember with a smile. Yi Kai brings Jing Xuan to the arcade and they have fun together playing games. On the way home, Jing Xuan is almost knocked down by an e-scoter rider, Yi Kai is quick enough to pull her away to save her and they kept their hands held together. Jing Xuan hears a familiar song coming out from Radio Heat Wave in school. Kora appears and bring Jing Xuan to meet Ann for dinner. Before dinner, Ann buys Jing Xuan dresses and gives Jing Xuan fashion tips. Ann treats Jing Xuan warmly and show concern to her. Jing Xuan is touched. Jing Xuan visits a music school to meet Yi Kai, she hears someone playing the piano. Jing Xuan finds the pianist familiar and she is surprised when the pianist introduce himself as Yi Kai’s father, Tim.

4 - S1 E4 23 min

On the first meeting with Yi Kai’s dad, Tim, Jing Xuan joins them for prawning. Throughout the session, Jing Xuan can’t help noticing how meticulous and caring Tim is, Jing Xuan feels a strong sense of fatherly love from him. After several dates, both Jing Xuan and Yi Kai are even more sure of their feelings towards each other. Yi Kai left after sending Jing Xuan home, Jing Xuan starts hearing strange sounds again, which sounds like an argument between a couple. Feeling frightened, Jing Xuan hold on tightly around the necklace on her neck, the sound become clearer and she is shocked when she recognize it is actually Hao Cheng’s voice ! When Jing Xuan wakes up the next morning, she realized there are bruises over her wrist. Later that day, Ann come to pick Kora up from school. Jing Xuan feels a sense of similarity when she sees Ann’s heels as Ann got down from the car to greet them. Jing Xuan tries hard to recall and is sure that she saw these heels at the scene of car accident. Jing Xuan is confused and she is comforted by Yi Kai. Two of them were strolling near their house, and it started to rain. Yi Kai takes off his jacket and cover Jing Xuan from the rain. Jing Xuan feels protected and a strong sense of security from Yi Kai. She places a kiss on Yi Kai’s cheek. Yi Kai returns the kiss and both of them shared a romantic moment in the rain. Jing Xuan goes home feeling happy and blissful. However, when she steps inside the lift, she feels a drop of water dripping down onto her wrist, and she starts to feel numbness everywhere...

5 - S1 E5 25 min

Jing Xuan returns home hearing a familiar melody which jolted her memory. Jing Xuan finds a chance to sound Ann out about her relationship with Hao Cheng but to no avail. Jing Xuan returns to the accident site with Kora but cannot muster enough courage to walk up to the spot. A mysterious man appear and laid down a bouquet of flowers. Tim prepares dinner and Jing Xuan finds the taste familiar. Jing Xuan has some recollections of her childhood memories after Tim plays the piano. Jing Xuan wonders why Tim existed in those memories. She asks Yi Kai about it, but Yi Kai doubts her, making her disappointed. Jing Xuan gets jealous of Yi Kai and Kora's intimacy while filming their final year project. Jing Xuan acts cold towards Kora. Jing Xuan sees Yi Kai acting intimately with Kora and gets jealous again. Jing Xuan hears some strange sounds when visiting her parents at the cemetery. She attempts to hold a conversation with Ming Zhen, but gets ignored. Jing Xuan takes the stairs home and sees a couple kissing which makes her recalls seeing her mom and Tim acting this intimate when she was young. Jing Xuan rushes home to flip through her parents' belongings and finds a picture of Ming Zhen, Hao Cheng, Ann and Tim. She is shocked when she finds a cassette tape with Ming Zhen and Tim's JC photo. What is the relationship between Ming Zhen and Tim ?

6 - S1 E6 25 min

Jing Xuan suspect Tim is the mastermind behind the car accident and confronts him with the group photograph and cassette tape that she found. Tim denies that he has anything to do with the accident, he tells Jing Xuan that there might not be any mastermind. Jing Xuan is confused as she does not know if she should believe Tim. Kora explains to Jing Xuan that she treats Yi Kai like a brother and she will never let Jing Xuan down, the two good friends reconcile and look for Jing Xuan’s classmate Jian Yu, who is editing their short film. Kora accidently finds out that Jian Yu had been stalking Jing Xuan and taking photos of her secretly. Jing Xuan found out that Ann’s assistant was following Hao Cheng and her from these photos. Jing Xuan suspect Ann is associated with the car accident. Jing Xuan confronts Ann about the car accident. Ann brings Jing Xuan back to the scene of the accident and says, if Jing Xuan wants to know the truth, she will have to pay a heavy price, including losing her relationship with Yi Kai. Yi Kai appears and persuades Jing Xuan to stop finding out the truth as he did not want their relationship to be gone. However, Jing Xuan really wants to know the truth about her parent’s death. Jing Xuan makes the difficult decision between keeping the relationship and learning the truth, she chooses to...
