Romesh Ranganathan, everyman, comedian and self-confessed coward is heading to some of the world's least likely tourist destinations. He's getting an insider's guide to find out if they're really as bad as their reputations, or actually the next hot tourist spot. There's only one problem: Romesh can barely negotiate a travel plug, let alone a hostile foreign situation. Hosted by a local in each country, he'll meet extraordinary characters and find himself in bizarre subcultures, sampling the food, hotels and sights.
