Invented or Discovered?

Three theoretical physicists (Freeman Dyson (Institute for Advanced Study), Artur Ekert (University of Oxford & National University of Singapore), Nima Arkani-Hamed (Institute for Advanced Study) and philosopher James Robert Brown (University of Toronto) reflect on different aspects of “mathematical Platonism” which is the belief that numbers and mathematical concepts somehow have an existence independent of space, time, and us.
