Ryan is a striking film about Canadian animator Ryan Larkin, once a pioneering artist whose life took a tragic turn. The film features voices from fellow animators, artists, and people from Ryan’s later life, including homeless individuals and mission workers. These narratives are expressed through surreal, distorted CGI characters that mirror the director Chris Landreth’s perspective.
